Mountain Sunrise Homes LLC was started in 2015. It is owned by Mike and Liz Bortner. We are located in the Tucson, Arizona area. Currently we are focused on improving residential neighborhoods in the Greater Tucson area. There is a large demand for improving homes in quite a few neighborhoods. Just by driving around town I am sure you have noticed these eye sore properties. Part of our companies goal is to buy those homes that are in the most need of restoration and return them to near new condition (sometimes even better). By restoring these homes, we are helping to improve the whole neighborhood. The basic idea is simple. Improve one or two homes in a neighborhood, we improve a neighborhood. Improve another neighborhood and we are on the way to improve the community, and so on. Since we live, work, and shop in these communities, we feel that we have an obligation to do our part to improve our communities.
Since Mountain Sunrise Homes LLC was started, we have spent tens of thousands of dollars learning from some of the most successful investors, for example CT Homes LLC which stared on the hit TV show Flip This House. By spending the money on our education, we have been able to greatly improve how we do business. As with any business, getting an education is paramount in getting your business to succeed. Can you imagine starting a McDonalds and not understanding how the business works and how to manage it? You might think it is as simple as flipping some burgers, but believe me McDonalds did not become the worlds largest fast food chain without a great business plan and management. Mountain Sunrise Homes also takes its education very seriously. We are constantly talking with other professionals to see where we can improve our business which will change our communities for the better.
Our current goal is to rehab 10 or more properties a year. Working with other local investors and other local businesses we will be improving neighborhoods and helping to support our friends and neighbors.
