Looking for houses for sale in Vail AZ?  There are many ways to look for houses for sale in the Vail area.  You can look at the local Multiple Listing Service’s (MLS) website, Zillow, Redfin, a local Real Estate brokerage’s webpage and many other possible websites or you can contact us to see if we know of a property for sale that has not hit the market yet.

The market in the Vail, AZ area has really come a long way since the 2008 market crash.  Property values are going up and the competition to buy and sell is also increasing.  There is no right or wrong way to go about looking for a new home, it all depends on what your situation is.  Is your current lease expiring and you need to find something in the next week, or can you take your time and research homes for the next several months?

Another factor that you need to take into consideration when looking for a home in the Vail area is the location.  Do you want a larger community near a golf course like Del Lago, or do you want a bit more space?  The general neighborhoods that are further away from the Del Lago community tend to offer more land than they do near the golf course.  Of course there are exceptions, but that may be a way of quickly eliminating properties that do not fit your lifestyle.  If you are an avid golfer, you may want to buy a home that is on or very near the course.  Some homes offer splendid views of the washes, desert, and the mountains depending on how the house is positioned and located.  There are even houses that are located in the foot hills of the mountains if you want more of the privacy and nature the area has to offer.

There are some local businesses in Vail with many more just a 10 minute drive to Rita Ranch where you can find nearly all of your shopping needs.  There have been quite a few new businesses that have opened up in the last couple of years and will be opening in the future in the area.  That is bringing in commerce and helping the local area grow.

I think that one of the best parts of living in the Vail area is that you can get away from the hustle and bustle of living in Tucson and still enjoy the convenience of being able to get into town easily.  Interstate 10 allows for easy access to downtown Tucson and the Marana areas or you can drive up Houghton road to get to the East side of Tucson.  You can get to either area in 15-20 minutes if you work in those areas, and yet relax at home where it is quieter.

If you have kids, then Vail may be the right area for you.  Vail has one of the top ranked schools in Arizona.  They have a great academic program and support extra curricular activities like sports.
